Spring Shipping of Tubers in April:

We charge a flat rate of the $18 per tuber order. This covers packing materials and USPS shipping. We appreciate this is expensive and we agree. This price reflects a review of options and our effort to weigh costs, time and customer service.

Early Shipping of Tubers in March:

We charge a flat rate of $28 and this includes USPS mailing and additional packing material. While we guarantee all tubers had eyes present at the time they were divided, early shipping may not allow sufficient time for us to wake all tubers. Weather can be variable and unpredictable. While we take every precaution when shipping, the buyer takes the risk eyes will fail to develop or the tubers may freeze in transit.

Combined Shipping of Multiple orders:

We are happy to combine shipping for a single shipping cost to a common address. Please maker sure you have the same name and shipping address when placing multiple orders. When checking out, leave us a note and we will refund shipping.

Seed Shipping:

Check this box if you are only ordering seeds. Seeds ordered and shipped with tubers do not need to check this box if seeds can be mailed with tubers. We charge $5 for seed shipping to cover the cost of first class mail and mailers. This is not insured or tracked. If you would prefer to pay the priority shipping rate for the added security, contact us as we will make the appropriate arrangements. Seed shipping will be done around the 1st of February and the 1st of March, depending on the date seeds are ordered.

Tuber and Seed Pick-up:

Tuber Pick-up will be April 11th from 10-12 pm at FlowerBird Farm. If you are unable to make that day and time please select the shipping option. If you miss the pick-up day, I will send an invoice for shipping costs. Shipping invoices not paid in 72 hours, will result in a non-refundable cancelled of your order.

Early Tuber and Seed Pick-Up is available on March 7th at our farm in Mount Pleasant. Make sure you check the appropriate option. Please note, while we guarantee all tubers had eyes present at the time they were divided, early pick-up may not allow sufficient time for us to wake all tubers. The buyer takes the risk of holding the tubers through early spring and the potential that eyes may fail to develop.
