Black Satin
This Dahlia, produces striking dark red almost black compact formal decorative 4" blooms. Her blooms were quite dramatic in arrangements where the deep red almost black coloration really stands out in the fall bouquets. The plant grows to 60" and spreads so make sure you stake her! We started to wake her up in March here in Mid-Michigan and she produced 3 cuttings and the tuber for established plants in mid-May. We averaged 11 tubers per plant. Wer sold out our stock in 2024 and pocurred new stock from Two Dog Farm to grow in 2025.
